Fun times at the ranch tonight. Had to extract a BBQed ground squirrel from the dryer inlet. 2nd time in the last 5 years. On the bright side, it did give me a chance to clean out all the gunk in the duct work and deep inside the lint trap.

I must be the only one who doesn't really care for PF. I do appreciate the sonic aspects, but I could never get into the actual music. But I feel like that about a lot of music, even the current Indy-Folk stuff.

I have a pair of the woofers already, so I ordered the tweeters and a few crossover parts for these. Not sure when I'll get to them, but it'll be a good project for one of the coming cold winter weekends.

It seems our dog really doesn't like the MLS noise in ARTA. The first one was on the woofer and made him growl quietly. When I switched to the tweeter, he jumped off the couch and started barking and growling at the speaker on the stand!

I forgot about the Koss cans I have at work. A steal for $40. They look like cheap crap from the 80s, but actually sound pretty decent. I can hear when the phone rings and they are so light you almost forget you have them on. (Image)

I had no idea they made spicy sirloin burger. I don't venture into the grocery store very often. My wife will be out of town for a week starting tomorrow, so I'll look for it when I'm at Hy-Vee this weekend.

For home use, I like my Sennheiser HD-600s, but I wish they had a little more bass. At work I have some KRK KNS-8400s in my camera bag. They sound fairly flat and have proven to be very road-worthy!

I now see they vary in thickness too. One cabinet is 10.5" wide and the other is 10.75". The interior measurements are same.

Yeah - that's what I get for not measuring the width of all of them the first time. Just a minor setback - they’re in clamps after some trimming. (Image)
