None of my dabbling with open baffle have inspired me to get serious about it over closed/box designs - just lacks too much in the dynamics/loudness department.

My trying to make cabinets fancy means I make cabinets every 10 years - if I keep them functional I get one set per year out of my efforts and a lot more experimentation done . . .
You can also make a sleeve to wrap around the tube using a paper file folder, wrap with tape and adjust the length externally by poking a hole in the side of the paper tube & bending a coat hanger wire 90*
