My boss is from Iowa - he is always bemoaning the lack of "stuff" to do around here. Like everywhere else, it depends on what you like to do. Hunting/fishing is world class in SoDak, plus we have Black Hills National Forest and Badlands National Park - both of which offer scenery that can hold it's own with anything in the world. We do not have major league sports, nor is my state renowned for being a culinary destination (although I think those that have indulged in our local specialty - chislic - will agree that it is a delicacy).
