CSS Detroit DIY 2024 - Sept 27th-28th
Hey guys, I don't have a ton of details yet, but we're planning on Fri/Sat September 27th/28th in Plymouth, MI. Mark your calendars and I'll come back with times and locations.

Hoping I can make it this year. But that's a strong 6 hour drive or more depending on the messed up Chicago traffic.
I would love to go, but there is just no way I can do it. I may have to plan on going next year. That will give me some time to save money and build a project.

This will be Saturday, Sept. 28th from 9am - 6pm for the usual show 'n' tell. Each speaker gets 5 minutes of house music plus 5 minutes of your music.
Also, please come by Friday, Sept. 27th to the CSS facility at the address below. Kerry and I will be working, but you're welcome to come as early as you want to hang out, go through our shit, listen to music and start drinking if you're so inclined. We'll join you as soon as our responsibilities allow

Cliff Bell's is a historic jazz club that Has been in Detroit since Jazz was new.

Belle Isle is another fun stop without of the world's oldest functioning aquariums. About 40 min drive.

Motown museum, Third Man Records, Detroit Institute of Art, and lots more. Downtown Detroit is fun to walk with lots of sights to see.

Hopefully I can swing being free for Saturday. Would like to get some input on the 1.5way. Don't know if I'll be able to finish the 3-way in time since I'll be on vacation next week.

About an hour and a half from Detroit, heading to Cliff Bell's jazz. But stopped to buy my wife clothes. Why? Because I left our bag sitting on the floor of the foyer.
Cool. So this is the Killer Queen build. As I understand it from watching the vid, this speaker would be composed of a sandwich of 3 separate cabinets per channel. Question: Can the upper and lower cabinets be vertically tilted or micro adjusted with respect to the center tweeter cabinet? For time alignment purposes? Kind of like the Typhon speaker. Or are the three cabinets fixed? Just wondering.
I'm jealous, and want one! Maybe Teepublic has one....
