Oh shit! My daughter came home from school this afternoon feeling awful. Headache, sore throat, and a fever
Hoping this doesn't rage through our house like usually does
I'm bringing some nice drivers to sell as well. Brand new or just slightly used (tested). Hopefully someone can score a good deal and do something cool with them.
Does anyone have any interest in a HP 334A Harmonic Distortion Analyzer? The one I have has been sitting on the shelf for 32 years gathering dust. It worked 32 years ago but your results may vary. :-)
I'm trying to finish up my active project which I'll need to supply my own speaker cables for. Will 2 10 ft. cables be long enough?
No gator clips this year. I just spent a few hours swapping parts around to see if I could get everything connected using only the component leads. But knowing me, I better double check things before soldering it up.
I showed up to a client's business for a video shoot a day early last year. Still not sure who had the wrong date on their calendar. At least they were right around the corner, so I took my sweet time getting back to the office.
Well it looks like there will be around 25 DIY peeps and approximately 20 projects, according to the registration data which typically is always wrong. LOL.
All good.
I suspect @JasonP and myself will be rolling in between 2:00~3:00pm.
Here's the track listing for the house demo. Total length is 5min.
➖ Various nature sound bites: Thunder, rain, crickets
➖ Riders on the Storm – The Doors
➖ The Planets – London Philharmonic Orchestra
➖ Wilted Rose – The Black Crowes ft. Lainey Wilson
➖ Songbird – Eva Cassidy
➖ Lose Control - Teddy Swims
➖ Tech Noir (Carpenter Brut Remix) – Gunship
We are going old school and spinning CDs this year, but we can burn your disc at the venue if you have an alternate format - USB drive, etc. Also will have plenty of old demos if you need one.

SB NIB.
If somebody doesn't claim these SB poly drivers at the event and @meniscus is willing to bring them back to Grand Rapids, I want them. (If it happens I'll PayPal you, I know you always have fair prices).
Do you want a great deal on a pair of 6" SB poly woofers? You heard them in my Indy theme project this Spring. They are great sounding drivers but I have the need to thin my herd of drivers and prototype (read: no finish on enclosure) projects. I'm sure Mark won't mind hauling them back to GR.

Me too!
Still Wed per my watch. At least you are not a week off. Didn't that happen to someone once? Showed up a week early.
Pretty sure it was Mike Carreras, showed up a month early to Meniscus one year, IIRC.

I showed up to a 10k race 1 year and 1 hour late one time... it's safe to say I came in last.

Maybe I missed it, but do our personal demos need to be on CD?
** Just saw Bryan's post about this earlier. Flash drive it is!

We're totally just putting Barbie Girl on for you. No house track either.
I'm bringing several as well.
I think what JR means is that he is bringing lots of remixs of Barbie Girl...
Yes. Message me what you want for them and I'll PayPal you.
I'll take them either way, but are they 4 or 8 ohm?
